The Remington Gun Safes include the SecuRam Basic UL approved high security electronic lock. It is one of the highest quality lock brands on the market. This SecuRam lock is the exclusive partner of Liberty Safe and trusted by all of the major safe brands. The Remington gun safes are built tough for only being a California DOJ Approved Gun Safe. They range from 12 gauge to 10 gauge steel doors and bodies with up to fourteen 2″ thick solid steel locking bolts. Additional security features include a drill-resistant hard plate protecting the lock and an internal re-locker that fires to keep the bolts locked in place during a drill attack.

The Remington Gun Safes are both fire and water rated which is not common on gun safes. The fire ratings are from 60 to 120 minutes up to 1800 degrees which is 600 degrees hotter than the standard 1200 degree rating. They also include an intumescent door seal. This seal expands to multiple times its size during a fire to keep smoke and heat out of the safe.
Water Rating
The water seal is rated for 7 days in up to 2 feet of standing water. These safes measures over 5′ tall so that does not include the lock which sits at about 4′. Floods don’t typically get that high so it is a great feature. Remington is now the only brand that offers a quality waterproof gun safe. Lastly, the lifetime warranty also covers fire and natural flood.
Style and Function
Styled incredibly well, the Remington Gun Safes have it all. Each series has its own powder coat finish which is both durable and sleek. They have high quality handles, Remington logos and corresponding keypads. The interiors are fully carpeted with the shelving and barrel rests finished with an embroidered vinyl trim. Next, the door panel organizer is finished in vinyl. In addition, the shelves have zero sag and the interior lights up with the included light kit. Lastly, they include a UL rated dual power outlet with USB ports. They thought about every last detail and made a superior quality product built to last.
The Bottom Line
These brand new Remington Gun Safes are going to be a huge seller in the safe industry.
